2. Information used to provide the service

  • Account information: Contact and sign-in information, account identifiers supplied by authentication providers, and profile information you provide, such as a name, photo, or bio.
  • Content and activity: Uploaded audio, artwork, release details, playlists, favorites, follows, listening activity, and interactions with available community features.

Information collected depends on the features you use. Sign-in services may provide account identifiers and contact information needed to authenticate your account. External music sources may supply public track information, artwork, and artist details displayed in the catalog.

3. How information is used

We use information to provide playback and account features, maintain personal collections, display and manage published content, operate activity features, understand usage, troubleshoot problems, and respond to requests. We also use information to detect abuse, protect accounts, review content, and meet applicable legal obligations.

4. Public content and service providers

Information you publish in public profiles, releases, and public playlists may be visible to other visitors and search engines. Avoid including private information in public content.

Hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, advertising, and other service providers process information needed to support their functions. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to investigate abuse, respond to rights claims, or protect the service and its users. External sites and services have their own privacy practices.

5. Cookies, storage, analytics, and advertising

Smashify uses cookies and browser storage for sign-in sessions, preferences, and service features. Google Analytics is used to understand website activity.

Where Google ads are served, Google and other third-party advertising vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on visits to this and other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow it and its partners to serve ads based on those visits. Other advertising vendors may also use cookies or similar technologies when serving ads.

You can manage Google's personalized-ad settings at My Ad Center, learn how Google uses information from partner sites at Google's privacy information, and find participating vendors' opt-out choices at YourAdChoices. Browser settings can restrict cookies and clear stored data; doing so may sign you out or affect site features. Any consent choices presented by the service also apply.

6. Retention and security

Information is retained as needed to operate the service, maintain account and content records, investigate abuse, resolve requests, and meet applicable legal obligations. Some records may need to remain after an account-deletion request for these purposes. No system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and requests

You can update available profile and account settings in the app. To request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, email support@smashify.app. We may need to verify your identity before acting on an account request. Your rights and any exceptions depend on applicable law.

Information may be processed where Smashify and its service providers operate. Contact us if you need information about the processing of your account data.

8. Children

The service is not intended for children under 13. Users under 18 must meet the parental or guardian consent requirements in the Terms of Service and applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact support.

9. Updates

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the service and applicable requirements. The current version and its update date are published here. Where required, we will provide notice of changes.
